THE FOUR JAPAN OBI VINYL TREMENDOUSLY RARE LONG OUT OF PRINT TITLES: A listener must understand with this LP that The Beatles did everyone of these tracks in one take. It captures them really live but in a studio. It's really a tremendous collectors piece because you really get a feeling of exactly what their early shows in Liverpool and Germany were like and how tight these Fab Four really were (since we really could not hear them during their Beatlemania era live shows because the crowds were so loud). PLEASE PLEASE ME - Tracks are 1. I Saw Her Standing There 2. Misery 3. Anna (Go to Him) 4. Chains 5. Boys 6. Ask Me Why 7. Please Please Me 8. Love Me Do 9. P.S. I Love You 10. Baby It's You 11. Do You Want to Know a Secret 12. Taste of Honey 13. There's a Place 14. Twist and Shout Lennon and McCartney begin to flex their writing muscles and had already scored two UK hits when this appeared, but they still relied heavily on the cover material to see them through. They were an unknown quantity, still to launch a million bands and take pop music to places it had never dreamed off. Just the beginning!!There have been so few vinyl LPs produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever. HARD DAY’S NIGHT – A Hard Day's Night 2. I Should Have Known Better 3. If I Fell 4. I'm Happy Just To Dance With You 5. And I Love Her 6. Tell Me Why 7. Can't Buy Me Love 8. Any Time At All 9. I'll Cry Instead 10. Things We Said Today 11. When I Get Home 12. You Can't Do That 13. I'll Be Back That dramatic guitar chord that kicks of A Hard Day's Night (album, song, movie) still jumps right out at you, slaps you in the face, and jump-starts your heart. And you know what? Both the music and the film are still as crisp and lively as they were in 1964. Of course, only the first seven songs are actually in the movie (and they are the strongest of the bunch, from the rousing rock & roll of the title track and the hit single "Can't Buy Me Love," to the beautiful ballads "If I Fell" and "And I Love Her"). But nobody's going to complain about having songs like "I'll Cry Instead" and "Things We Said Today" in the second half of the record; they sure don't feel like leftovers. Yet another high-point for John, Paul, George, and Ringo who hit the highest heights imaginable BEATLES FOR SALE -- BEATLES FOR SALE came out for the 1964 Christmas market. The Beatles, whose instincts for what worked musically were so strong that they could basically do no wrong--any record that has "Baby's in Black," "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" and the delectable "Eight Days a Week" on it is only "minor" in the most relative sense. And, though their voices had been frazzled a bit by constant touring, they revved them up for some joyous shouting, and indulged their fondness for American country in subtle, playful ways. 1. No Reply 2. I'm a Loser 3. Baby's in Black 4. Rock & Roll Music 5. I'll Follow the Sun 6. Mr. Moonlight 7. Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! 8. Eight Days a Week 9. Words of Love 10. Every Little Thing 11. I Don't Want to Spoil the Party 12. What You're Doing WITH THE BEATLES - RARE Original Mono Pressing. 1.It Won't Be Long 2. All I've Got to Do 3. All My Loving 4. Don't Bother Me 5. Little Child 6. Till There Was You 7. Please Mr. Postman 8. Roll over Beethoven 9. Hold Me Tight 10. You've Really Got a Hold on Me 11. I Wanna Be Your Man 12. Devil in Her Heart 13. Not a Second Time 14. Money (That's What I Want) They still had plenty of covers to fill out the running time, but the Lennon-McCartney writing team was gathering steam and beginning to knock out pop classics as if they were pulling them out of thin air. "All My Loving" and "I Wanna Be your Man" come from this record, issued hurriedly to capitalize on English Beatlemania. But even when they were laying into some classic Chuck Berry, by this time the Beatles had acquired a unique sound in the blend of John's and Paul's voices, while George was coming on by leaps and bounds as a guitar player. These Beatles Lps are tremendously hard to find NEW NEVER PLAYED CONDITION. Here is you chance to purchase these titles in that condition. The Beatles In the Beginning on LP from Wax Cathedral, pressed at RTI WITH GATEFOLD JACKET Seminal early Beatles recordings as backing band for singer Tony Sheridan Includes rare Lennon/Harrison instrumental "Cry for a Shadow" and Lennon-led "Ain't She Sweet" This is where the legend starts. Serving as the backing musicians for British rock singer Tony Sheridan, the Beatles turned out the most productive studio session of their formative years in June 1961 in Hamburg, a historical occasion documented on the seminal In the Beginning. Billed as the Beat Brothers, the group that evolved into the Fab Four counted original member Pete Best on drums and largely supply Sheridan with rhythmic foundations for traditional cuts such as Ray Charles' "What'd I Say" and Lieber-Stoller's "Ruby Baby," as well as a batch of originals. Most importantly, the date also produced the rare jazzy instrumental "Cry for a Shadow," the only Beatles track ever credited to Lennon-Harrison. Another essential gem is "Ain't She Sweet," an early 20th century hit covered here with lead vocals by John Lennon. Most importantly, this treasured LP affords music fans from around the world an early glimpse into the instrumental abilities and harmonic sound of a band that would, within two years, become the most important and popular ensemble in history. Historians and collectors, take note: These performances occurred long before the quartet's similarly prized artifact Live at the Hamburg Club 1962, making this album the earliest official recording of the Beatles available. 1. Ain’t She Sweet 2. Cry for a Shadow 3. Let’s Dance 4. My Bonnie 5. Take Out Some Insurance on Me, Baby 6. What’d I Say 7. Sweet Georgia Brown 8. When the Saints Go Marching In 9. Ruby Baby 10. Meet The Beatles! * Disc One* 2. Beatles' Second Album * Disc Two* 3. Something New * Disc Three* 4. Beatles ' 65 * Disc Four* Japanese Pressing of the First-ever CD Reissue of Four Albums Originally Released from Us Capitol Records in 1964 ("Meet the Beatles", "The Beatles' Second Album", "Something New", and "Beatles '65"), which Feature Us-original Tracklisting. Each Disc Contains Both Mono and Stereo Versions of Each Album. Capitol did a tremendous job with the music here. They did exactly what they were supposed to do: take the original American Capitol stereo and mono mixes, transfer them cleanly and leave them alone. All of the original anomalies are here: Lennon's harmonica overdub on Thank You Girl, which was only in America, guitar overdub in Money, the extra verse in the US mono I'll Cry Instead (but not the stereo), the single-track McCartney vocal in the US mono And I Love Her, the extra reverb on both stereo and mono US versions of She's a Woman/I Feel Fine, the double-track intro vocal on the US stereo If I Fell, and so on. These are all here, exactly as they were on the US albums. And for that, Capitol deserves applause, because frankly I've been disappointed with the Yellow Submarine remaster, and Let It Be Naked. I don't like tampering. This box set is the genuine (American) article. And it's worth preserving for what it was and is. The Beatles and George Martin both knew exactly why Capitol was releasing different versions of these records in America, and George Martin gave Capitol his stereo mixes for that purpose, after which Capitol added some reverb on certain songs, but the fact of the matter is that both Martin and the Beatles had no problem whatsoever with this practice. I actually like the fake stereo and reverb from these US albums...it was a product of the times and of the era, and in fact the first four mono UK albums as they sound on the current EMI CDs are very flat, dull, and dry. This new Meet the Beatles beats the pants off With the Beatles. It's big and bold. The Beatles 65 material has never sounded better, listen to Baby's in Black. No comparison to the Beatles For Sale CD. For those who really wish to hear a cleaner version of With the Beatles, you can have some fun by taking these new mono mixes in this box set, and reconstructing With the Beatles from the tracks here on MTB and the 2nd Album. You'll make yourself a new version of WTB that sounds way better than the flimsy EMI disc, but I have to say, kudos to Capitol, they did a great job musically by cleaning up the American tapes, and then leaving them alone AS OF Sep-26-2008 per USPS policy, seller added the following information : International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
