Beautiful copy of the rare 1962 3-LP boxed set of Gagaku Taikei- Outline of Gagaku, played by Gagaku Shigen Kai… 雅楽紫絃会 - 雅楽大系 器楽編 Pressed in Japan only on RCA Living Stereo SJ-3002-1-3. Very rare set in a beautiful silk covered box, with a lovely booklet mostly in Japanese, and still including part of the obi, the main front half, with the rest torn off. The disc are in beautiful condition. The second disc has a few light marks but they don’t affect the play at all. The whole thing plays perfectly on my system… not a single pop or crackle at all. Just a beautiful set of discs. Those light marks on the second disc are the only issues at all I can mention. The other discs are perfect, the sleeves are perfect, the booklet is perfect, and the box itself is perfect, with no wear at all. This is a truly beautiful copy of this rarity. Near impossible to beat.
